Terms of Use
PDFPivot for Mac ("the app") is a native macOS application provided by The Nexus Pivot, trading as Nexus Pivot Max ("we", "us"), at Nexus Pivot Max, Khanda Colony, New Panvel, Navi Mumbai 410206, Maharashtra, India. By downloading, purchasing, or using the app you agree to these terms.
Regional Availability
PDFPivot for Mac is not currently offered to customers in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom. Its dedicated marketing, purchase, and download pages are unavailable when accessed from those countries. We may change regional availability in a future release.
Permitted Use
The app is intended for viewing and editing your personal, public, or otherwise permitted PDF documents. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the app complies with applicable law and the copyright of the documents you process.
Restricted Use
You must not use the app to bypass DRM, encryption, or other access controls on protected documents, or to infringe the rights of others.
License
PDFPivot for Mac is licensed, not sold. A paid license is a one-time, non-recurring purchase granting one individual the right to use the app on up to three Macs and to receive updates within the purchased major version. Core tools — editing, OCR, manual redaction, forms, conversion, accessibility, and Evidence Digest — work without a license and with no time limit. The free version adds a mark to exported files. A valid license removes that mark and unlocks eligible PDFPivot AI features while the license remains valid.
Hardware Tiers and Downloads
Feature availability depends on the Mac. Every supported Mac receives PDF tools and Evidence Digest without an AI download. Additional local AI requires Apple silicon and at least 8 GB memory: approximately 3.41 GB for 8–15 GB Macs or 6.59 GB for Macs with 16 GB or more. Intel Macs include PDF tools and Evidence Digest. Separate Apple-silicon and Intel installers are provided.
Model packages are supplied by third-party open-model registries and their licenses apply. Downloads require internet access and disk space. Performance, duration, and capability vary with hardware, document length, language, and model availability.
Connected Claude and Codex Services
Enhanced summaries are optional and require your separately installed Claude or Codex tool and your own account. PDFPivot does not bundle or sell those services. If you approve a document, its extracted text, including OCR text, is sent off the Mac through the selected provider and that provider's terms, privacy policy, limits, and charges apply. You can revoke sharing in PDFPivot. PDFPivot servers do not receive the document text.
AI Output and Verification
AI summaries, answers, presentation outlines, podcast scripts, and suggested actions may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. On-device checking flags statements that cannot be supported from the PDF but does not guarantee correctness or completeness. Citations and page links are provided so you can inspect the source document, which remains authoritative. AI output is not legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice and must not be the sole basis for consequential decisions.
Purchases and Merchant of Record
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller and merchant of record, Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"). Paddle handles all payment transactions, provides customer service for orders, and is responsible for collecting and remitting applicable sales taxes. When you buy a license, your contract of sale is with Paddle. Paddle's Buyer Terms apply to your purchase in addition to these terms.
Pricing
PDFPivot for Mac is US$59.99 one-time in supported regions outside India, and ₹3,499 one-time in India. Prices are shown in your local currency and include or add applicable taxes at checkout. We may change prices for future purchases; the price shown at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase.
Refunds
Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy through Paddle. Access to paid features may be removed if a purchase is refunded, charged back, revoked, fraudulent, or otherwise no longer valid.
No Warranty
The app is provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that every format, font, model, AI response, or complex document structure will render, convert, or analyse perfectly on every Mac. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the app. Nothing in these terms excludes statutory consumer rights, warranties, remedies, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Updates and Third-Party Components
PDFPivot may download signed application updates and security fixes. Open-source models, runtimes, and libraries are covered by the notices supplied with the app. We may replace or discontinue a model or connected-service integration when security, licensing, provider, or compatibility requirements change; local PDF tools and the purchased major-version license remain subject to these terms.
Governing Law and Courts
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory consumer rights or forum that cannot lawfully be excluded, the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes relating to the app or these terms.
